Invitation to Bid on Hunting Lease Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 1100 A.M. Eastern 2,679 Acres of Hunting Land for Lease Located in Marlboro County, S.C. Description This tract offers hunting for turkey, deer, waterfowl, small game, and predators. The tract is located 7.8 miles northeast of Cheraw, S.C., just west of SC HWY 177 about 2.5 miles south of the North Carolina - South Carolina State line. The property has excellent access with frontage on Hatcher Road ( SC 35-203), Billy Wallace Road ( SC 35- 97), Gurney Road ( SC 35 – 751), Haire Town Road ( SC 35 – 97), and White Creek Road ( SC 35 – 406). See location map for details. Tract consists mostly of early to mid rotation planted pine plantations along with some natural stands. Whites Creek and associated swamp forms a portion of the northern boundary. The tract has two ponds and many internal creeks. The property has a good system of internal roads. Method of Sale The Hunting Rights between June 30, 2010 and June 29, 2011 are offered for a lump sum sealed bid. Fax bids and phone bids will be accepted until 1000 a.m. the morning of the bid opening. * Bids must be faxed or mailed on the supplied bid form. Faxed bids will only be accepted up until 1000 A.M. the day of the offering. Fax bids will require a $1,000.00 deposit prior to 500 P.M. on June 30, 2010. All mailed bids should include the $1,000.00 deposit along with the bid form. Make checks payable to Iron Horse Auction Company.
